Duplicate contacts after 15.1 update
How do I erase the duplicate contacts from my contact list? Happened after I went from 15.1 to 15.2. The whole list is doubled

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities about the contacts on your iPhone. Let’s see if we can help get this sorted out for you.
One of the first things you will want to check is, do you have these same contacts saved to multiple accounts (such as Google, Yahoo, etc.). If so, it’s possible that’s where there duplicating from. You can check by going to Settings > Contacts > Accounts and uncheck Contacts. For more details, see Manage and delete contacts on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
You can also Hide duplicate contacts on iPhone. That link will provide the details on how to perform that step.
