Commbank app on my apple watch does not work. It stays on the loading screen and does not move to the next screen with menu/options. Anyone else having this issue?

Open the banking app on your iPhone and then see if the app works on your watch. Many banking apps are slave/master, which means the app has to be open and active on your phone to work on your watch. Which of course makes the app pretty useless on a watch. But that's entirely up to the app developer at the bank, not Apple.
Next step would be to contact CommBank for help with their app.
I have the same problem . I cannot get the CommBank App to load on my Apple Watch. I have tried restarts, updates, I have uninstalled and reinstalled. and I run the app on my phone at the same time.
Any other ideas?
