AirPods audio sharing on MacBook (conf-calls)

Hello,

I was wondering if there's a way to connect two pairs of AirPods to the same MacBook, with the intent of actively using them over the same conference-call app. EG: Google meet, me and my colleague both using a pair of AirPods connected to my MacBook Pro.

I know a rather similar feature is possible on iPhone, where you can share the audio with two pairs of AirPods. Yes, it would actually be something different because in this case I would have to share both mic and audio to the same MacBook. I was wondering if there's a way, or a third party app that allows it.

I guess audio sharing is okay, the real question is can I simultaneously have input source connected both working at the same time? Would I need some sort of audio interface, similar to instrument input lines?

I'd really like to elevate the quality of video conferencing in my office, we are a very small team but even few people can sound messy with one of those AIO conferencing audio device such as the Senheiser SP30.

Thank you in advance.

Good afternoon pstmrc,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you are trying to connect multiple AirPods Pro headphones to the same Mac for video conferencing, and we'd like to help.

You can't connect two AirPods Pro to the same Mac.

If your colleagues have their own computer or iPhones to join the conference call, that would be the best scenario.

If you only have one computer to work with, then setting up an audio interface would be the way to go.

Combine multiple audio interfaces by creating an Aggregate Device

Take care.
