MBP 13 inch early 2015 randomly restarts

After installing a 1TB SSD in my mates laptop swapping out the apple 128GB one, for him the machine sometimes randomly restarts. The SSD that I put in was a crucial P5, could this be that it takes time for the new SSD to adjust to the machine, or is this apple being a git again about using non apple stuff?

When my mates not being creative my mate does classes with clients so uses PowerPoint a lot. Has anyone else experienced this? I had something similar when I installed a new SSD on my MacBook Pro 15 late 2014, however mine would only restart when I closed the lid and reopened it.

I upgraded from Mojave to Catalina that fixed it, so I stayed on Catalina. However my friends MBP 13 early 2015 is on Monterey, from the time machine back up he had.

Do you think Monterey is the issue?

From the panic report it appears that the SSD may be the problem.

panic(** 2 caller Oxffffff7f9ae58231) : nvmer

IONVMeController.cpp:5320

The SSD is a NVME drive
