Increase Contrast mode stuck on certain programs

Question

Recently turned on increase contrast mode on my 2020 Macbook pro for a brief moment. It is now stuck turned on for certain applications.

What have I tried?

Screenshot demonstrates chrome with contrast mode off and visual studio code with contrast mode on.
