Cap lock key

Hi I recently purchased a mac book pro 13’’ but I have noticed my cap locks key doesn’t not switch on when i press it once. Can you help me with the problem. My mac is just about a month old.

Caps Lock Key My caps lock key does not work properly, I purchased my mac in September 2022, when I press the button, is is very inconsistent, sometimes caps lock will turn on, other times it wont. I have tried multiple troubleshooting methods shown in other threads, but to no avail. I have tested this thoroughly by pressing the caps lock button multiple times in the same position with the same amount of force, where the indicator will not turn on/off everytime, I would say it works 50% of the time, I have cleaned the keyboard and ensured there is nothing blocking the area below the keycap.

My Caps Lock key not working. My Caps Lock key on my Magic keyboard, iMac running Sonoma 14.0, does not lock. The green light illuminates only when holding the key down and then CAPS can be entered. As soon as the Caps Lock key is then released, only small case is entered. Caps Lock will not stay on. Why?
