I turned off restrictions, even turned off Screen Time and still cant read Apple News on my Ipad

How can I read Apple News as when I start the app it displays an error message regarding turning off restrictions??

Hi AdrianSaav, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.


I note that you have turned off Screen Time and still cannot read Apple News.


Can you please check: Settings > News > Restrict Stories in Today.


If it is turned on it can block other sources of news except the channels that you follow.


If this does not resolve your issue you could also consider deleting the News app and downloading it again and the following links explains how to do this:

Hi,


I had a similar issue (NOT your exact issue). I get Apple News notifications via email. I was able to click the story links and have the News app open to the story on my iPhone. When I tried this on my iPad, I got a message saying I needed to subscribe to Apple News.


I resolved the issue by going to iPad Settings > News and changing the Location setting to “While Using.” That fixed it.
