Why is it that I’ve consistently have lost numbers I’ve enter I to contacts. When I activated this new 13pro many numbers even when I restore from back up. I’ve spent the last month asking

Why is it that I’ve consistently have lost numbers this past year. I’ll go try to find someone and it’s just gone. When I activated this new 13pro many numbers even when I restore from back up. Are gone. I’ve spent the last month asking who is this when they call. The cloud/storage thing is frustrating to me a bit.

Troubleshooting Lost Contacts:



Sync Through iCloud:

I. Enable Contacts in iCloud:

A. On an iPhone:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Contacts


B. On a Mac:

Access from iCloud, Manually:

  1. Go To: icloud.com
  2. Select: Contact
  3. Download: the Contacts


II. Check iCloud, Directly:

Once uploaded. make it easy and see if they reside in iCloud. As long as Photos is still enabled in iCloud on the devices, then they will be recoverable. Go here: https://www.icloud.com/contacts
