How to sync everything from a broken old phone to a new phone

Hello. My iPhone 8's screen is completely damaged, but I'm not sure if I've backed up everything. Can I transfer all of my settings (apps, photos, and so on) to a new iPhone without having to replace my screen? (The iPhone 8 has a passcode as well.)

If you do not have a backup then you can't transfer anything.
