Display failure

I am your customer for more than 20 years. Have been in possession of many Apple devices, including 5 MacBook Pro laptops. Always satisfied with you products and services.

UNTIL NOW. I have MacBook Pro, 16-inch, 2019, C17ZMFG0MD6M, and it has display issue. After the last update - at about 1/5 of the display in vertical direction became dark and unusable. Probably something burned inside. I went to the authorised service provider, they checked and said that it is internal display failure and need to be replaced. Please, note, that the Mac has not been dropped or hit - there are no any traces of something from outside that could have caused the damage.

So, I know that the laptop is outside warranty, but still think that your engineers need to look at this problem.

This is an expensive device, have been used for less than 2 years and such kind of failure is a really bad publicity for company like Apple.

Can you tell me how to connect to somebody from the engineering department? Maybe this is an issue for repair program.

Sorry, but you are not addressing Apple here, this is a user to user forum only.

Does the problem still exist, if you are starting your MacBook Pro in safe mode?

You could also visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Provider next to your place and let them diagnose the device.
