New phone didn’t transfer pictures/Video

Got a new phone due to old one not turning on anymore old one XR new 13. Photos/video and the way my old phone was set up did not transfer to new phone. Everything else as in contacts, emails and apps transferred over I had to download and sign back into apps but they were there. How do I get my pictures/videos back. I’ve looked at some other discussions and have made sure certain things are turned in and my old phone was backed up the day I got a new phone.
