Mirror My MacBook Pro to Imac 2021

Hi! I have just purchased a "platinum USB-to HDMI cable to use with my "Apple - USB Type-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - White" to mirror my MacBook Pro with my new iMac 2021 and it won't work. I've tried the command F2 and it'd not connecting. Help?

It won’t work with an iMac 2021. See below.
