Too Many Calendar Notifications

On my iPhone, I have my daily class schedule on my calendar and I set the calendar so then I receive a reminder for my classes 30 minutes ahead of time. I set these reminders for all my future events however, sometimes for certain classes, I get a reminder for a class that I have for the next day. I went into the calendar to remove the second alert so then I only receive reminders 30 minutes in advance for all my classes, but then it randomly switches back to giving me reminders for tomorrow.

How can I fix this issue so then I only get the alerts for my classes 30 minutes ahead of time?

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, pinkpurpleblue!

We understand you're getting notifications for your classes a day in advanced when you've set it to only notify you 30 minutes before. We'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.

Are these events being saved to your iCloud account? Go to Settings > Calendar > Default Account and check which account is set as the default.

You may need to delete all of the future events that have been created and add them again.

Have a great day!
