Can I change my IMAP iCloud account? When I log in to iCloud and choose mail preferences it doesn't give me the option to delete or change the IMAP email address. Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We can understand why you’d want to know how to remove an email account.

Please note, that when you remove an account you may experience data loss if your data is not backed up.

iCloud Mail is a bit different than using a third-party email provider, as iCloud Mail is part of your Apple ID. You can turn off iCloud Mail on your iPhone by going to Settings > Tap your name > iCloud > Scroll down to "iCloud Mail" and disable that option.

Set up iCloud on all your devices
