Hello!

If you haven't already, you'll want to give the steps in the "If your display appears blurry" section of this article a try to see if they allow you to select a higher resolution: If your external display isn't detected or appears blurry on your Mac

If not, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support to look in to this further and see what's going on. You can reach out to them here: Get Support

Take care!

Hello visanu192,

We see that you're trying to change the resolution on your display. We'd be happy to look in to this with you!

Are you using your Mac in clamshell mode and using the XDR display as the only screen or are you using it as a second screen?

Are you mirroring from the MacBook Pro or is it set up as it's own display?

This info will help determine what options may be available.

Cheers!

Hi Bryan, Thanks for your contribution. Well, I only connect my MacBook Pro to an external Screen as my primary (own) display. Before I had the LG UltraFine 27 and the resolution is much better than with the Apple Pro Display XDR (max. at 3008 x 1692). I wan to increase to close 4K to gain some space while working several coding windows. Cheers
