Could you please confirm what kind of cable you're using to connect your Mac to the display?

Do you have access to another monitor/display? If so, do you see a higher resolution available when connecting to that display?

I don't have the Pro Display XDR here to test with my 16-inch MBP M1 Pro and cannot find information about what resolutions are supported between these new MBP and that display. You have 90-days of free Apple phone support. Give that a try if you haven't already.

Are you using your Mac in clamshell mode and using the XDR display as the only screen or are you using it as a second screen?

Are you mirroring from the MacBook Pro or is it set up as it's own display?

Are you using the Apple Thunderbolt 3 Pro cable that came with the Pro Display XDR? Have you reviewed the Pro Display XDR user guide yet?
