My apple Magic Mouse stopped working

My apple Magic Mouse stopped working, I tried out all the options but no luck.

Is there anything I can do to fix the issue ?

Mine did the the same. It also gets slightly warm near the optical sensor. Bluetooth Connection is good on different devices, it also charges, but no functionality - no mouse pointer, no clicks, no scrolling :( Just 2.5 yrs old.
