iPhone X boot looping with white screen and black Apple logo

I woke up and my iPhone X was boot looping. It had the whites screen and black apple logo instead of the normal black screen and white apple logo. I tried pressing the volume up button then the down and then the power button. It went to the black screen with white apple logo but then went back to the white and continued to boot loop. Then I tried to get my old iPhone 8 working. As soon as I installed the backup, it started doing the same thing with the white screen with black apple logo. Therefore it is a software problem. Please help. Thank you.
