Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference to kick off June 10 at 10 a.m. PDT with Keynote address

The Keynote will be available to stream on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel. On-demand playback will be available after the conclusion of the stream.

How do I get rid of the grey multitasking arrow that has appeared on the left side of my iPad?

You need to explore multitasking - as you have a slide-out view of an App enabled. Key to accessing and controlling multi-tasking is the small “three-dot” button that is found at the top-centre edge of the screen.

If you have an upward-pointing hollow arrow on a dark background at top right of your screen, you may have Sticky Keys enabled - this setting not being related to iPadOS multitasking.


Settings > Accessibility > Keyboards > Sticky Keys - switch to OFF
