No messages on new iPhone 13.
My parnter purchase a new iPhone 13. When we left the store the tech said that her messages would come over to the new phone; they never did. Now what do we do?
How was the new iPhone setup? Was it using Quick Setup, was it from an iCloud backup? Were iMessages setup to use iCloud Messages on the old device? If quick setup, they should have come over. If iCloud Backup, they would have come over when the iPhone finished restoring from the backup. If you were using iCloud messages, then they would have synced when you go into Settings><your name>iCloud>Messages.
