I have a certain free iPad app and its performance is unsatisfactory.
I would consider buying an app, if it were possible to get a refund, if performance is unsatisfactory.
I am not going to buy a cat in a sack.

No. If it is a free app, then no you would not get a refund. So, uninstall it, by holding you finger one it lightly until it wiggles. Then tap the "X" to remove it.
