If it is 789uiojkl, this is a well-known settings glitch. Go to Accessibility preferences and make sure that Mouse Keys is turned OFF. Hitting Option 5 times may also do it.

Is it still under warranty? If so, take it to Apple.

If not, replace it. KBs are generally not repaired, they are replaced.
