What kind of ports does your computer have? Is it too old to have a USB port, or is it too new that it has USB-C ports. If it has USB-C ports, the newer ones, you can get an adapter. Computers have had USB-A ports since the iPhone was originally released in 2007.

The cable would have come with the iPhone when you purchased it. If you do not have one, you are going to either have to buy one, or you can go to the nearest Apple Store for assistance. You should just buy one, since it is used to charge the iPhone too.
