Xbox Controller not Recognized by iPad

I've tried to connect two different Xbox Wireless Controllers to my iPad to be able to play Cloud Gaming on Edge, but each time I try to load a game, it says the controller is not connected or idle. I'm currently trying with a controller model 1708 (which is noted as supported here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211232) and updated the firmware of the controller to 4.8.1923.0. My iPad is also on the latest version, 15.2.1, and the Edge app is 97.0.1072.56. Any recommentations?

Xbox Elite Controller 2 - Not working on IOS (iPad/iPhone) I just spent $200 on the top of the line Xbox Elite Controller (v2), that claims to be supported on IOS, but it will not detect the Bluetooth controller. Xbox One Wireless Controller Hi All, I am having some trouble with my iPad games. I am running IOS 13.4 and have recenty subscribed to Arcade and was happy I could use my Xbox controller (apparently). I managed to connect my Xbox One Bluetooth controller. Then I downloaded an app to test it - all buttons work fine on testing. Albeit, I cannot get it to work on any game; It just remains dead. I have tried deleting all Bluetooth items (keyboard, mouse and Apple Pencil) restarted iPad reconnected on controller etc etc but nothing. Does anyone have any advice? Many thanks in advance, Dodge.
