My iPhone SE (2020) won't work in my 2021 Tundra

CarPlay is supposed to be compatible with a range of models. We have two of these. A iPhone SE (2020) and an iPhone XR both running the iOS 15.3. Trying to enable it in my 2021 Tundra (Audio Plus)

Although I've followed the owner's manual and many directions and suggestions from Apple support neither phone can establish CarPlay. On the SE, Siri even responds the phone is unable. But the XR should since it sees the Tundra when the CarPlay app is selected. It just never makes the CarPlay appear either with bluetooth or USB cable(s).

iPhone SE, iOS 15

Well, let's see what I can do for you.

Multiple things could not allow a phone to establish a CarPlay connection with the car. Firstly it sounds like it's making a Bluetooth connection but not making the CarPlay connect. So the phone is seeing the car as an audio output. Two things can happen from personal experience you may have too many devices connected to the car. Most likely, you will need to navigate to the car settings, browse to the connected devices, select the phone, and enable or check the box with CarPlay. The second option could be to change settings within the phone: Settings>General>CarPlay if the car doesn't show up, proceed with the setup process.

I really hope this could help, the phone should totally be compatible with the car, I will be here if you need any more help.
