iPhone backup
Hi
does anyone know why my iPhone storage shows me 87 GB and when I backup to iCloud it shows me only 50 Gb? I want to reset my iPhone and recover from iCloud backup and I’m afraid that not all content is there

That probably means that the total of iOS itself plus the code in all of your apps is 30 GB. Neither iOS nor the actual programs thenselves are included in a backup, because both can be downloaded again, either from Apple’s IOS distribution servers or the App Store.

Simple answer , iCloud won’t backup iOS software and others or system data so iPhone storage isn’t the same as iCloud storage
tnx for the answer
but it make sense that there is a 30GB “missing “?
