Hello alwhitecom,

From your post it appears you are having an issue installing an app.

Sometimes installing in safe mode will help. To start in safe mode, begin with the computer powered off. Follow the directions found here, depending on what type of Mac you have: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

The computer will take longer to start in safe mode, and the screen may have some distorted video as it starts up. This is normal. Once you are logged in, try and install the app.

If everything seems to work as expected, go ahead and restart the computer normally. Starting in safe mode forces the computer to run some disk checks similar to First Aid. This can resolve some issues.

If the issue remains, if you can provide the exact wording of any messages that appear, this will help others here provide possible solutions.

Cheers.

Found problem.TAKE SCANNER back ,buy used Bic pen, write document info on paper and do your taxes old way. When pen quits working buy new or used pen. Tried replacing OS tried decompressing files tried all avenues but still no success . Best way is buy old used working stuff and live with it. Buying a new MacBook Air silicon has been a big mistake. not enough compatible options in the world for that machine. Won t make that mistake again. Stying with old proven stuff from here on in. Glad I kept my 10 yr old Mac so I can still get emails. ALL I need to depend on.
