I lost all my contacts in my iPhone

I guess there was an update and I have no contacts in my phone! What do I do to get them back

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

Did you create any backups in iCloud or on your computer prior to that?

If you sync your contacts with iCloud, make sure that in Settings/iCloud the option for "Contacts" is enabled. Then your contacts should sync back to your phone after opening the contact app.


If you have a backup on your computer, restore from that backup to get all contact info back, that has been saved at that point when the backup had been made.
