Share large albums
How do I share my 13,000 photos with my family? I would like to not select each and everyone to add it to a shared folder. Ideas?

Hi Karlylite,
We understand you have some questions about setting up Shared Albums in Photos, and we'll do all we can to help out. You're on the right path by following How to share albums in Photos on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac
If you'd like to share 13,000 photos with your family, you may need to create multiple shared albums, as each one is capable of holding up to 5,000 photos. Which device are you currently using to create the albums? Also, do you have access to a computer? That will help us better determine our next steps.
Have a great day!
Hi Steve,
We're glad to learn you have access to a Windows PC, as that may make the process easier. If you're able to install iCloud for Windows on your PC, you should then be able to organize the photos into the albums as shown in "Set up Shared Albums on your Windows computer" here: Set up Shared Albums in iCloud on all your devices
When working with a large number of files, some users find it easier to organize them on the computer instead of the iPhone or iPad.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.
All the best.
Hello. Thank you for the fast reply.
I believe all photos are in iCloud. That said, I was using my iPhone SE 2020, 15.2.1, Photos app, created and shared a new album.
now it’s how to get 5k photos into it without having to click each one.
i also have a Windows 11 pc or an iPad 8th gen. running 15.2.1 to try it on.
Steve
