Disk size not clear

My Macbook suddenly restarted and frozen on login interface, it worked eventually after several attempts, No idea why it broken down or how it worked. But while attempting, I noticed that disk volume is showing different values, I do not know which is accurate and what does the other mean?

? That all looks normal...

Looks like you have a 1TB drive— w/ 262 GB free storage.

To trouble shoot further you can:

—Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation, however a reboot will put it back to normal mode.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/set-up-other-users-on-your-mac-mtusr001/mac

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS

You are looking at different aspects of the drive and file system in those screenshot which all look perfectly normal.

The first screenshot is showing the information of the whole physical SSD.

The second screenshot is showing information about the hidden Container which contains multiple APFS volumes used by macOS.

The third screeenshot is showing one of the APFS volumes contained in the hidden Container of your second screenshot. The "Macintosh HD" volume you have shown in the third screenshot is your root macOS system volume.

Think of it like looking at a file cabinet (first screenshot). An individual file drawer is like the hidden Container shown in the second screenshot. Each individual folder is like the APFS volumes which are contained in the hidden Container. When you look at the file cabinet as a whole you only get so much information about it. When you open a file drawer you see a bit more information, and the same thing happens when you open a file folder in the drawer. Same thing is basically happening in those screenshots.
