Hello World: I would like to setup my iPad mail so that it works and looks exactly like my iPhone mail. My wife does not like the fact that when you open mail, the messages are displayed with their headers to the left in a column. However, the previous opened email messages is displayed in the background. Please see attached pic. Would like to be able to remove the open email from the background as pictured.
Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Rotate the iPad to Landscape mode to get use of the full screen.
The previously opened messages however will always be there on the left, since there's nothing else to show on that side.
Unlike the iPhone, the iPad has enough space to show the open message and the message list as well. There is no way to only show the message list on an iPad however.

Message in background ~ the only way I found to make it disappear is to put it in the trash .
Headers on left ~ in general settings > mail > preview > none .
