No service

My iPhone 8 says no service but I do have Wi-Fi. This this is not the first time it has happened and it seems to me that the last time it happened it worked after I took the Sim card out and replaced put put it in again that didn’t work this time and I miss seems like I inadvertently do this somehow when I go on my Settings and I touch something I’m not supposed to or any ideas on what that might be?

No Service indicates that the SIM card is not connecting to your provider's mobile phone network. Contact your provider for advice on why this might be happening.
