network issues, VPN flickering, couldn’t connect to server FIX

I got sent a replacement iPhone 12 mini. I restored from my old phone. New phone wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi, Spotify wouldn’t let me log in. Apple Music said “can’t connect to server” when I would try to play music. And in settings, the VPN tab was flickering. I reset my network settings, I reset all my settings, then I erased and reset my entire phone and it still didn’t work! I figured it out: my phone was looking for a VPN, but I wasn’t connected to any VPN. Go to general -> VPN & device management -> and turn off “connect on demand”

and if you use a VPN, then once you’ve done that, download/sign into your appropriate VPN client
