M1 macbook pro 13"inch 2020 Battery Not Detected, Code PPT001

recently my macbook pro M1 chip got water damaged. The macos diagnostic result showed only code PPT001. I already tried to replace the battery with a new one but the problem still remained. Now My macbook can't turn on without charging (with the old battery). Can somebody help me :"(

Well the problem is this, you tried to replace the battery. That typically is not good for any warranty support, since that will be obvious from your own work. I'm not saying that's how Apple will view it, since we can't guess Apple policy. But that's how I've seen it has happened before to people.


AppleCare+ for future events does offer some accident protection. External battery packs do exist with charging USB-C which can afford the portable functionality as long as the charging ports are working. That may be cheaper than trying to negotiate with AppleCare the replacement of the parts.
