Liquid detected issue when charging iPhone 12 Max Pro

Error Message: When inserting lightning cable to charge phone gives a "Liquid Detected" message; Charging is not availabe because liquid has ben detected in the lightening connector.disconnect to allow the connector to dry. This may take several hours.

This occured after updating to ios 15.3

It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images/pictures speak louder than words. 


Please understand this is a public forum: While attaching a Screenshot, do not provide any personal credentials, such as Card detail, email id, apple id, IMEI number, Serial Number, Phone number, Order ID, if you are sharing a map ensure your location is not identifiable, etc.

The "Liquid" message does not appear any longer because my phone will not charge any longer with the lightning cable. I can only charge the battery via. a wireless charging pad otherwise my phone is now a brick. Now I have a $1200 piece of junk... Has to be an "APPLE" thing because the phone or port has never been near any type of liquid source.
