MacBook Pro M1 (Max/Pro) power-up behavior

I'm trying to change the setting ( through the terminal) that makes the MacBook Pro turn on as soon as a key on the keyboard is pressed, but I couldn't do it while on my old Intel MacBook Pro it worked perfectly. This behavior is a problem because you can't clean the MacBook keyboard without causing the Mac to reboot. Is there a way to change this behavior on the MacBook Pro M1 ? Thanks for your help

You no longer have this option in Terminal on your New Mac.

The work around I use for cleaning after it is booted up—Control Command Q will lock the screen and accept no keyboard input until your correct passwd is entered... this is the best you can do, and seems to work well.
