keychain access not working in Monterey

Since upgrading to Monterey (12.1) I can't access KeyChain Access. The app opens OK, but no window appears. I know web passwords are in System Prefs > Passwords now, but I want to access others, in this case some mail accounts.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.1

Reboot is always a good first volley...

In Most applications if you use the red pill button, it simply closes the window, not quit the app;

use the Command Q to quit apps.

With your Keychain launched and no window you can see from the menu item Keychain>Window>Keychain Viewer (Command 1) in this case.

Most any app will have this alternative way to reopen a closed window, this will save you from rebooting.
