Sending a Powerpoint

How do I send a powerpoint presentation so it will play automatically for the recipient when they open it? It is a large file so I had to send it through dropbox. But when the recipient received it, they had to advance each slide manually.

Are you saving it as a PowerPoint Show?

Save your PowerPoint presentation as a PowerPoint Show (a .ppsx file) so

it automatically starts the slide show when the file is opened.

Here are the instructions: Save as PowerPoint Show

Yes, it is saved as a powerpoint show. It automatically plays when I double click on it. I emailed it to myself to see if it would play when I open it from the email. But it only let's me advance the slides manually. It won't play automatically. It is a large file and I saved the powerpoint show to dropbox. Would that make a difference why it won't play automatically when being attached to an email using dropbox?
