Pencil on my imac screen after Monterey upgrade

I have just upgraded to macOS Monterey and I appear to have a what looks like a apple pencil on my screen. If I click on it it does nothing

Is the background your desktop wallpapers If is go to System Preferences>Desktop and screensaver and check and change as necessary.
