GraphicConverter could perhaps be one way of converting the (PICT) files.

Make sure that multiple copies of the files have been made before any tests, and only work on copies.

If necessary, would it be possible to borrow a System 7.5.x to Mac OS 9.x computer?

What to Try:

Duplicate on of these, and then body the extension of this duplicate to jpg.

Was that a QuickTake 100, 150, or 200?

• From where did you transfer the files? Where are you reading the files now?
• Have the files been stored on floppies? If so, Mac- or PC-formatted diskettes?
• Do you still have access to the old computer?
• Do you remember in which file format the photos were saved?
• Is it possible that the files are compressed/encoded?
