Hi DeadEye1, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

Can I suggest that you update your iPad to the latest iPadOS which is 15.2.1 (if you have not done this already) as updates can help resolve some problems. The following link can help you:

Although your post seems to indicate that you have iPad with IOS 11 and may not be able to update. Furthermore, as app developers update their apps regularly to provide security enhancements and improvements, it could be that the app may no longer work with your iPad.

Having said that you could try deleting the app and downloading it again and the following link explains how to do this:

This IPad is running 15.2.1 - this issues has been since the “up drain” ( battery consumption reference) - there doesn’t seem to any obvious place to edit my H/W like an Edit button in my profile.

or god forbid should Apple read the os version as part of the handshake when connecting, it should obviously recognize the version of Safari I’m connecting with is part of 15.x?

I could of course be connecting with a newer device asking questions about an Older device however un-probable that might be…

Thanks,

Don
