How can I scan a QR Code from the US with my German IPhone?
What happens when you scan it with the camera? There are no country-specific QR codes; when you scan a code it opens a web page. If that web page is not available in your country Safari will display a message saying it can’t be reached, but something will always happen.
That has nothing to do with the country where the scan came from; it isn’t a URL code, which is all the camera can process. It is specific to an app; you would need that app to use the code, or a more general QR code scanner app from the app store.
With the camera nothing happens. The scanner says:
“This barcode have a special format and can't be read by this app. Here the content of this scan :” now here are following some numbers and letters
