Has anyone else run across "Dock2Master" as 'sneakware' that installs itself? Malware/AV software doesn't flag it, but I'm not seeing much if any documentation about it.
Well, since there is no way for anything to install on its own in macOS, you must have. But, you probably didn't know you did.
What have you installed recently, and where did you get it?
I don’t know how Mac OS allows any app to install itself. You can easily install all of the “sneakwear” you want.
if you download software from other than the developer’s website, it will often be bundled with additional software that you did not intend to install, but you did.
I just opened up my laptop and Dock2Master was trying to open itself. definitely not something I installed on my own
