Delete the account from where? For what purpose exactly?


The iPad itself has no bearing on what happens to your account.


Your account contains all your purchases and subscriptions and can be used on another device.


What exactly are you trying to do?

If you are being billed for something, follow the steps here to find it and cancel the subscription: link-> How to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support


Which is very different than deleting your Apple ID account entirely.
