The display lights up when the Apple Watch Series 7 is taken off the wrist.
Hello dear engineers! Today I bought a new Apple Watch Series 7 41mm. After syncing the watch with the iPhone 11 Pro Max (ios 15.3), the watch was immediately updated to the new wOS 8.4 firmware version. During the operation of the watch, a problem was discovered related to the Always On Display technology: when you remove the watch from your hand and put it on a table, a blanket, a napkin ... the display on the watch continues to light up, as if the watch believes that it is still on the hand. Sometimes, after removing the watch from your hand, the display may turn off and light up again. It helps to put the watch on a black surface, in which case the display goes out and does not light up again until you put the watch on your hand.
I tried to untie the watch from the phone, do a forced reboot, set the watch as new, none of these actions solve the problem, the watch still lights up the display from time to time when the watch is not on hand. This should not be! The display should not light up when the watch is removed from the wrist. What could be the reason? How to solve the problem? Or is it a firmware issue?
