What is the best "free" Virtual Machine client for Windows? Thanks!

The only free Virtual Machine software is Oracle's VirtualBox and it does not (currently) support Big Sur or Monterey on Intel or M1 Macs. Apple provides Boot Camp for running Windows 10 in a separate bootable partition, but only on Intel Macs.
You will need a minimum of 16 GB RAM for a Virtual Machine in a 2012 Mini. That way, you can up the usable RAM for Windows, but only assign one CPU for the Windows guest. My 2011 mini has 16GB and runs Virtual Box with Windows 10 quite nicely. OWC offers RAM upgrades for the 2012 mini. I would recommend the 16 GB (8 GB x 2) replacement RAM.

Previously, I was running that same setup with no issues. I think there is another culprit.
Maybe the display?
