I have recently switched iphones. My Apple ID and iCloud transferred, however my passwords for websites have not transferred. They all erased is there a way to restore them?

The only thing I would believe would have been from the backup you had of your old device. When you logged into the Apple ID, what happened? As long as you logged into the same Apple ID and had the switches turned on for things you had in iCloud, they should have recovered.
What kind of backup did you have? If iCloud, did you have Keychain turned on? How did you transfer content to the new phone?
Yes I had key chain turned on. I didn’t use any back up. I just logged in With my Apple ID account.
Is there any way to recover my old passwords?
I logged in with the same Apple ID. And only one password transferred out of many.
