Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that your iPhone is not registering DTMF tones.
DTMF tones are signals using a frequency band over telephone lines to communicate with dialing equipment. There is no iPhone setting to change this and your carrier is in the best position to investigate further. First, check to see if your carrier has released an update that might help. Check out Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Then, if the same continues, reach out to your carrier for assistance.
