Hey guys I’d like to change the batter in my XR I wanted to know if this iPhones battery was interchangeable with the XS or any other one? I’m going to bring it to get repaired but I don’t want them to put an inferior battery in it or something. Thank you!!!
They definitely do not have genuine Apple-spec batteries; just hope they have good quality batteries. And if the battery is not Apple-spec the Battery Health monitor won’t work.

If you do that, you will render your phone completely unsupportable and untouchable by Apple.

It's your choice what to do with your own device. However, the other comments made are that Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider may deny future service on the basis of someone other than Apple, an AASP, or one of Apple's independent service operators doing a battery service. What you're talking about here is clearly not by the book in line with Apple's repair procedures.

As you can’t buy an XR OR XS battery on the open market, it’s irrelevant.

I'm not talking about warranty. I'm talking about ANY service or support.
