My watch will not update

My watch will not update My watch has been on the charger all night my Wi-Fi is on I keep trying to install the update and all I get is the thing that says your I’m your I watch needs to be charged to 50% it’s at 100% and it still will not charge from download the update I’m getting very frustrated

Update from the watch itself.

Place the watch on the charger.

Make sure that your watch is connected to wifi.

On your watch, open the Settings app.

Tap General > Software Update.

Tap Install if a software update is available, then follow the onscreen instructions.
