Turning my tv on and off
I am setting up my Apple TV but can’t get the remote to turn the tv on and off.

The remote would turn on or off the Apple TV box, which in turn sends a signal over HDMI-CEC to the other devices. Verify that you have activated CEC on your TV and on the Apple TV box.
